Layout and Homepage
I really like your layout. The simplicity of it is just perfect. Your header image is simply text with a drop shadow, but for your background you choose a cool scratch-like texture. I think it really ups the quality of the layout. The only thing I would of changed would of been the make the text a different shade of purple to make it stand out a little more. It also gives you more colours to use in your CSS, which by the way, looks great too. Everything matches! It looks clean-cut and nicely laid-out.
Your sidebar isn't jammed up with un-needed things either. I would suggest shortening the Updates section though. It's better to only put a few dates at a time here.
Also, your footer doesn't go all the way to the bottom of your text. The black text is also hard to read.
CSS, Coding, and Browser Compatibility
Yay, your CSS is completely validated! You only have one warning, which doesn't mean much. This warning also looks easy to fix. Everything else about your CSS code looks awesome.
Your xHTML has 2 errors, and they are both the same. It's about your tables, and those can probably be easily fixed. But it's great that you only have 2 errors! It's better than the 20-some I have. :/
According to BrowserShots, your site looks just the same in every browser. Good stuff! I guess there is nothing else to say here.

I'm just going to start off with spelling/grammar mistakes: In the first paragraph, "...your whole life has it's advantages" should be ...your whole life has its advantages. In the second paragraph, "Though neither are married..." should be Though neither is married... That's all I can find. :)
I really can't find anything else wrong with these pages. The Handwriting one is cool and original, and so is the Timeline. I've never really seen these before!

Button Bases: These are pretty good. One is a celebrity/model (Hanna Beth) and some of them aren't good quality JPG's. Either than that, these are good.
Coded Layouts: These are awesome. I can't believe you took all these photos! You're a great photographer. :)
Downloadable ABC Pencils: Haha, this is cute! Nothing wrong here.
Downloadable Smilies: I'd add more variety to this. Everyone has regular circle smilies. The heart ones and the ghost ones are the best here. Maybe try adding something different; something no one else has!
Icons: Again, can't believe you took all these pictures. You should have some cool photography site or something. :P These look great, but some are not high quality JPGs again. It makes some of them look a little pixelly.
Icon Textures: Nothing wrong here; these look great.
Pixels: Awwe, these are adorable. I love the bears. :)
Competitions: There isn't really much to say here; you've got everything organized nicely and it all looks awesome. The only thing I would do would be to put the entries into tables.
Tutorials: These are all great. I have nothing negative to say about them at all.

Portfolio
Wow! You've got so much stuff here. The articles, poems, reviews, photography and stories are fantastic. I'm so blown away. I wish I could say more, but I can't! Nothing negative here.
Domain
No spelling mistakes, just watch your capitals. Some words that should be capitalized aren't, and vice versa.
Either than that, I see nothing wrong with any of these pages. It all looks outstanding.
Conclusion
Ashley, your site is amazing. Everything is mostly HQ, you don't use celebrity images, everything is validated (for the most part) and your Portfolio looks how a portfolio should be -- your best work! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next. Just fix up those small little mistakes and your site will be perfect! :D

I've removed some of the updates, and fixed the footer problem you mentioned. I knew about the problem, but just never got around to fixing it. As for the second grammar error you've mentioned on my owner page; it doesn't make sense when I read it outloud that way. Though neither is married to my parents. .. It just doesn't sound right.
I don't know what link you clicked, but when I click my tutorial link it takes me to my tutorial page. I think you've made a mistake here because you've already talked about my tutorials in the section above.
Could you give me an example of what words I've capitalized that I shouldn't have and vice versa? Because I don't believe I've done that.
