labor day weekend 2008
We went Friday night as usual. We went in the car this time. It hurt. When we got there we just sat around and waited until around noon. Benny had already made plans to go have tea with family on his dad's side, so the rest of us went to a different restaurant without him. After we ate we went back to the house and sat around because my cousin had school in half. In the end the parents went to Costco, the guys played a PS3 game and badminton and I just sat around doing nothing.
After the parents got back we had to unload the van for them before we all got in the van and got Sophie. We got her and headed towards Best buy. After we got to Best Buy we all split. The parents went to the TV section for a channel box thing, guys went to the games, Sophie went who knows where and I went to the computer section. In the end we had a channel box, Call of Duty and a tablet. The tablet, I got since my last one broke. We went back to the house and sat around before going out for supper with a friend [ ? ] of the parents. Me and Sophie took some picture while we got bored waiting for them to finish talking.
Sunday, we all got woken around 9:30/10am by my aunt. The day before the parents decided on going to the Woodbury Premium Common Outlets or something like that and it was about an hour and a half drive. So we all got ready, got some food and drinks, got gas and went. Took us two hours from when we woke to get there. Of course we also missed the exit because no one freaking listens to me! "The outlet is right there.. Exit RIGHT THERE!" "No! The paper tells use to merge and then exit!" "We already freaking merged! There is even a sign that says Woodbury Outlet!" Nope, kept going, we ended up exiting and reentering the highway and turning around in the middle of the toll area, safe! Especially in New York! Well we were there until around 5. All I did was find sizes for the parents, I rock at finding sizes, hah. I got two pairs of jeans from Aero. I love that place, the pants fit me without a belt or having to cut them. I also got a book bag. Headed back to the van and got into a line to exit onto the highway. Oh my freaking flipping effing god. Is all I have to say. Screw lines! Of course we were going the right way, but there was this huge line up and it was taking forever. Everyone was turning around because they didn't want to wait and thought going the other way would do something, but the other line was even longer. Then of course Benny saw a guy get out and talk to a worker for the parking and the guy turned around so he told my uncle to turn around. Wrong way! We turned around again, after my uncle rolled his window down and threw the cone with the exit sign attached to it away so he wouldn't hit it and had like fifty cars honk at us and yell. The sign throwing made me laugh. At first Benny opened his window and just moved it an inch or two, then my uncle puts his window down picks the thing up and just chucks it right in the middle of the road. Oh, it was just lovely. Kind of like that one time in Fredericton and this one truck turned around in the middle of the street before stopping or just cut off all lines of traffic. Hah, not very many happy people. Well it took us an hour and a half to two hours to leave the parking lots and get onto the highway.
We were going to Flushing to eat at a buffet and of course when we got there someone decided to have a wedding party that day so they closed the buffet and went had to go all the way back to Brooklyn, 8th Ave. to have supper. By the time we got food I hadn't eaten in more then 24 hours, I had a cup of milk tea, half of a small frappuccino and half of a small Red Bull and I was living off of two to three hours of sleep. Oh, I was just happy when they ordered all dishes I didn't like except for an eel and sweet and sour pork. The eel I ate half of and the pork. Uccck! They added to much vinegar. Did I ever mention I am picky? Well the smell coming off the pork burned my nose, and I get yelled at because I didn't eat it. Yeah, you try eating something that freaking burns your nose to the point were there are almost tears forming. Geez. We got back and Sophie went straight for the computer, the guys went straight to the living room and that left me nowhere to go. So I just sat in a corner and then I got yelled at for sitting in a corner! So that was how that lovely day ended. The next we went for tea, packed and left.

easter 2008
Easter Break 2008. This is the time we went a day earlier. Doing nothing the first day we got there, the next we went out for tea before going back to the house. From there we went to what I'm sure was Staten Island Mall, shopped for a bit. Went back to the house and took the subway to uptown for sushi, then walked Times Square. The rest of the trip.. I don't remember.
