history

from the start

So, you want to know about my boring, not really useful site history? Well, this is the right page to read! I of course don't remember everything though, so it may not really make much sense.

Everyone had started out on piczo, well.. I started out with freewebs, yes that's right, not piczo but freewebs. Of course though I can't remember that far back, like the name or what I did with the site. After a bit, I eventually stopped using sites, when I got into the world of forums, role playing. Though after awhile, piczo appeared and all of my friends had one, so I made me own eventually. I've gone through a quite a few, and by the time I had put up the layout layout of that site, I was messing around with freewebs again. Though I had no will to actually make a site, I did. I'm not sure what made me, but I did. It closed when Ashley of heartlesswind.com got a domain and offered to host.

behind the name

There isn't any special meaning behind the name, Tranquility. The named I had used before was twisteddust, just because I was using it as a user name. When I came to heartlesswind though, I decided it was time for a name change, so someone was helping me out and we came up with Tranquility.

the looks

April 4, 2008 to May 28, 2008.

Carmen, One, no special or nice name, just something simple. This is the first layout put up on Tranquility. It also happens to be one of the first I've used photos of people for, well more of those model layouts, though the model isn't an actual model. The two images are actually of me. The brushes used are from deviantArt. And yes, the white border around the right picture was designed to be uneven. Why? Just because I felt like it.

May 28, 2008 to June 13, 2008.

Tranquility Hearts, was the second layout used for Tranquility. How the layout came to be is pretty simple. Wanting a new layout for a while, one with less black, I was one day just messing around in PhotoShop. Bored and idealess, I picked up my tablet and started to scribble from anger. Just scribbling and scribbling. The whole scribbles turned into this layout. I guess I ahd liked it enough I changed a few things, added the words and used it. No fonts, images or brushes were used. Everything was done by me with a tablet.

June 13, 2008 to August 14, 2008.

Hearts is the thrid layout I've used on Tranquility. The layout came about by one day a girl was bored in her science class and started to scribble. I had scribbled a heart and put it in abox before I get an idea and the rest ofit just came to be. This would the the first layout I've ever made with some actual plan before I started. To actually make the layout I used my tablet, 1px pencil and eraser in photoshop, two colors [ blue and green ] and the program handy image mapper, nothing else. I didn't download any fonts, images or brushes for this one.
